“Si, papí.”
“Ay… Yes…You make me so hard, Tammy.”
He started to undress. Tammy stood and then leaned back against the arm of her couch as she watched him.
He unbuttoned his shirt and revealed a perfectly cut physique. Tammy’s mouth dropped open.
“How much do you work out for a body like that?”
“Sex is my exercise,” Victor replied, “It’s the European way.”
Tammy folded her arms, pretending to pout.
“How many women do you have to sleep with to get an 8-pack?”
Victor chuckled, “What? Are you jealous?”
“Is it that many women?”
Victor shrugged, “Come on Tammy, we’re both adults. We don’t need to discuss numbers.”
“Maybe we do.”
Victor chuckled, “Listen Tammy, it doesn’t matter. I don’t care how many men you’ve slept with.”
“Three,” she blurted out.
Victor clicked his teeth.
“Tammy, it’s not important.”
“Tell me,” she insisted, “Tell me your number.”
“It’s big…”
“Yeah? Over ten?”
Victor looked at her, a look of pity coming into his eyes.
“Over two hundred.”
“Jesus!”
“Tammy,” he said, “Don’t freak out. I’m a man who loves making love.”
“A player?”
“No,” he said, “Don’t get the wrong idea.”
“If I’d slept with over two hundred people would you be saying the same thing?”
Victor replied, wondering how he’d gotten himself into this mess, “Tammy, I said it didn’t matter. I meant it.”
“Prove to me I’m not just another notch on your belt then.”
“You aren’t.”
“That isn’t proof.”
“You want something more?”
He approached her, stepping into her personal space and locking his eyes with hers.
“Yes.”
“Like what?”
“I’m not sure.”
“Are you scared?”
His eyes bore into her soul. Her heart pounded and she didn’t dare lie to him.
“Yes.”
“Of what?”
“Of you.”
“No,” he replied, “Not of me.”
“Of getting hurt.”
“Right,” he whispered, “Isn’t that what we’re all afraid of.”
“You can’t sweet talk your way out of this.”
“I know,” he said, “I just want you to trust me.”
“I can’t…”
“You’ll sleep with a man you don’t trust?”
“Wouldn’t be the first time.”
“Darling,” he whispered, “You think too much.”
“Make me stop then,” Tammy whispered.
Victor didn’t know if he could make her stop, but he could at least press his lips to hers and grip her hips, letting her know that in his arms, she’d be safe, at least for the moment.
“Did that help?” He whispered.
“A bit.”
“Don’t doubt me so much Tammy.”
“You haven’t exactly been a gentleman.”
“So what? You tire of passion so soon? Now you want a gentleman.”
He pressed his lips to her hands, almost mocking her.
“Maybe I do.”
“You want love making then?”
“Yes.”
“Slow?” He whispered.
“Yes.”
“Sensual?”
“Yes…”
“Spanish?”
“Yes…”
He reached for his pants and pulled out his cock.
“Look into my eyes,” he commanded.
Tammy looked into his eyes. He didn’t flinch as he beckoned her to come closer. He took her hand and wrapped it around his cock.
“Feel it,” he said.
She started to stroke his length, her palm barely wrapping around the impressive member which appeared even larger face to face.
He guided her onto her back on the couch and positioned his body on top of her. He started to press into her, nice and slow, just the way she’d asked for it. He betrayed no impatience as he inched into her as slowly as he could.
She relaxed, pressing her head back into the pillow as he filled her to the hilt. She was already starting to feel so stretched out. Her pussy relaxed and moistened to accommodate Victor’s penetration. Victor shoved the rest of his cock deep inside of Tammy. She groaned again.
He pushed inside of her rutting as he thrust as hard as he could. He drove those slow, deep strokes into her until her moaning reached a crescendo. Once he buried his cock in her, she no longer had control.
This was beyond any fantasy she ever had. Tammy cried out as her first orgasm from Victor’s massive cock washed over her body. She lost control. Her body ceased responding to her and all she could do was tune in to the pleasure vibrating between her thighs.
Her pussy spilled forth like a broken dam, coating Victor’s hardness in her sticky liquid. Her head spun as she teetered dangerously on the edge of unconsciousness. She gasped for him, gripping his back and pulling him closer as she exploded.
He continued to make love to her, slowly, savoring every bit of her flesh.
“You like that?”
“Sí, papí,” she moaned breathily.
Tammy groaned and slammed her hips back to meet his thrusts. She picked up the pace now, eager to bang her way to another climax before Victor finished between her thighs. Again he insisted on entering her unsheathed, claiming to prefer the feeling of her natural flesh squeezing the life of his cock. Tammy bucked and yelled, vocalizing in a way Victor had never experienced before.
He wondered what it would be like to stop making love to her and surprise her with the pleasure of nine inches right up her ass…
Maybe some other time…
Her pleasure intensified until she came again, squirting her juices all over Victor’s cock.
The sight of her losing control of herself beneath him pushed Victor over the edge. He grabbed her hips and came inside her. His cum rocketed from his hardness and coated the walls of her wetness. She responded by shuddering again beneath him.
He pulled out of her, spiraling down to earth from his heavenly climax.
Sweat dripped from his brow and he panted in exhaustion. Tammy turned around and ogled his glistening, tanned body covered in sweat. He was too damned fine…
Victor smiled at her. He knew what that look on her face meant.
“Happy?” He asked.
“Yes.”
“Good.”
“Where’s Jabari?” He asked.
“Now you ask,” she teased.
“You wouldn’t have brought me here if he were here.”
“Good point. Sleepover.”
“Ah.”
“Why?”
“If you don’t mind, I wish to spend the night.”
He asked with the good graces of a gentleman, betraying a gentle smile as he did.
“Of course,” Tammy said.
She led Victor upstairs to her bedroom. The giant suite was fit for a queen and Victor made himself at home immediately, leaping onto her bed and resting his head on the pillow.
“Ah,” he said.
“What is it?”
“It’s nice here. Reminds me of Spain.”
“What does it remind you of?”
“My parents’ estate.”
“Your parents?”
“Si. They are very wealthy in Spain. My second cousin is famous, a director.”
“Oh…” Tammy said. She hadn’t known, but she recalled hearing the director’s name before and wondering if there was a relation.
“Do you miss it?” She asked.
“Sometimes. Mostly I miss the wine.”
Tammy chuckled, “The wine?”
“Sí. Us Sp
aniards love our drinking.”
“What else do you love?” She asked, joining him on the bed and pressing her head into the pillow.
“We love to make love,” he said, grinning from ear to ear.
“I already knew that.”
“Yes,” he replied.
“I haven’t felt this way in a long time,” Tammy confessed.
Victor furrowed his brow.
“Dangerous, Tammy.”
“Dangerous?”
“Yes. What we’re doing is dangerous. We should be careful of how much we… feel.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“People could get hurt…”
“Like who?”
“Like you,” he said.
“You told me I wasn’t just a notch on your belt.”
“I meant it,” Victor replied.
He sighed and continued, “If Stan Duffy found out I was dating the parent of a student I could lose my job.”
“Do you need that job?”
Victor smiled, “I’m rich, not lazy.”
He added, “Jabari could lose his position at Willowcrest.”
Tammy pursed her lips. She’d considered that but she hated Victor drawing the fear to her attention.
“What should we do then?” Tammy asked, her heart racing, “Stop seeing each other?”
“No,” he said, “Not that.”
“Then what?”
“Why are we here Tammy?”
“Are you changing the subject?”
“Not at all,” Victor continued, “Answer the question.”
“I can’t explain this attraction Victor... When you were my teacher, I have to admit I had a crush on you. Now, it just feels like… more.”
“Exactly,” he whispered, “There’s more.”
“Any clue what that means?” Tammy asked.
“Yes,” he said, “It means we keep this private until we figure out what more means.”
Tammy smiled.
“I can live with that.”
She closed her eyes, hoping that nothing would change Victor’s mind.
TEN
LAURA JACKSON SAT in her bay window knitting each day. Ever since Earl died, she kept glued to that chair and to that window. Life happened out there. And it was far more interesting than what happened in her house. If you looked hard enough, you could begin to learn secrets. Laura liked secrets.
When you knew a secret, you possessed a weapon. It was self-defense, really.
Laura was far sighted, so she squinted when it came to her knitting, but she could catch details across the street with a sharp glance.
For example, Laura noticed when her neighbor Tammy had gone off with her son in the afternoon. She eyed her watch, an old Chanel timepiece that had been in the family since the war. It was too late for soccer practice, so Jabari was spending the night at a friend’s.
Laura guessed it wasn’t with Randall. Her suspicions were confirmed when in the evening, she noticed a familiar car entering Tammy’s driveway. Not Randall’s car.
She clicked her lamp off, her breath heaving as she anticipated the secret she was about to unveil. Tammy Powers never failed to provide. That poor woman was hopeless. If it weren’t for Laura, well, how could she ever have coped?
Laura hustled to the window, as fast as her arthritic hips could carry her. She pressed her face to the glass and peered out the window as she watched a tall man with dark brown hair exit his car.
Her breath fogged up the glass, obscuring her vision for a moment. As she rubbed frantically with the hem of her sweater, she realized she was too late to identify who the man was.
She bustled back to her chair and picked the phone up off the hook.
Any news about Tammy was worth calling Doris about. Laura sank into her chair, tilting up her tortoiseshell glasses through her pale strawberry blonde hair.
Laura watched, waiting for Doris to answer as she kept her eyes wide open, staring across the street for more details.
“Doris,” she whispered, “You wouldn’t believe what I just saw.”
Blue light filtered in from the street, illuminating her eyes which were glinting black orbs in the darkness.
“Laura? What is it?”
“Tammy Powers with a gentleman caller.”
“Again?”
“Yes.”
“Randall?”
“Of course not.”
“That slut!” Doris swore, mumbling and apologizing for the word’s escape.
“I think she’s with a white man Doris.”
“A white man?”
“I know,” Laura whispered, as if she were at risk of being heard, “He might be… He might be one of the boys down at Willowcrest.”
“A student?!” Doris exclaimed.
Laura rolled her eyes. Doris could be such a nimrod sometimes.
“No,” Laura huffed, “A teacher.”
“Well it can’t be Williston,” Doris mused, “He’s a good Christian boy.”
“They all get tempted by girls like that,” Laura muttered, a deep bitterness in her voice.
Doris nodded, “You better march over there and find out more missy.”
“Oh I will Doris… Make sure you call Cindy and let her know.”
“Yes ma’am.”
They hung up and Laura approached the window again. The car… She eyed the license plate and committed the number to memory as best she could. Laura hustled to her notepad on the dining table and scribbled the number down.
